"Creating Craft Educational Space 'Taste of Traditions'"

Our project aims to create educational craft hub for residents of Mostivska community and initiate adult education in community , revival of Ukrainian customs and forgotten local recipes.

Project goal is to create educational space, where rural women, including IDPs, can learn craft product manufacturing, namely cheese-making, pastille production and restoring forgotten baking recipes of southern steppe(Erdelivsky gingerbread, vertuta, plachinda).

‎Within project at least 30residents will receive training,gain necessary knowledge andskills, to create own business in craft product manufacturing.

Ready craft products, such as dried fruit, pastille, brynza, soft cheeses, vertuta, plachinda , Erdelivsky gingerbread after each master- class completion will be given to20 elderly people living alone .

After project completion local residents will be able to use acquired knowledge and equipment and will have free access to educational hub.

‎To implement project we need 118435,00hrn for purchasing furniture , equipment and costs for product procurement, needed for educational master -classes.

NGO "Stable Social-Economic Development of Villages" registered as legal entity. Since war began within its resources and capabilities actively works locally, refocusing activities on humanitarian needs and assistance in housing search and arrangement for internally displaced persons arriving to Mostivska community.

NGO conducted activities for regional civic activity development and facilitates charitable contributions from Ukrainian legal and physical entities in form of money, office equipment etc.

Mission of NGO "Stable Social-Economic Development of Villages" - help people in crisis situations and difficult life circumstances through unity and informal education .

Organization has significant experience in grant fund attraction and management. During 2019-2024 years successfully implemented several projects in cooperation with various donors.

In September 2019 Organization implemented project "TURFEST OPEN AIR (open air festival)" within "Decentralization Offers Better Results (DOBRE)" Program, executed by international organization Global Communities and funded by US Agency for International Development (USAID).

In 2020 implemented project "Rural Ideas Workshop for Adults and Children in Mostivsky Park" within Kyiv Dialogue small grants.

In 2022 for internally displaced persons (IDPs) implemented project "Assistance in Arranging Housing for Forced Migrants Temporarily Living in Mostivska Territorial Community" supported by International Renaissance Foundation "Humanitarian Solidarity".

In 2023 organization implemented project "Heating System Replacement and ECO Circle Installation at Shelter" in cooperation with NGO "Rural Women Business Network".

In 2024 attracted 1936thousand hryvnias and successfully implemented 6 projects:

project "Value Bread – It's Life!" supported by NGO "Rural Women Business Network";

project"Roof Replacement at Social Services Center" supported by Southern Development Strategy ;

project "Do Good for IDPs!" with financial support of Hungarian Ecumenical Aid Service;
