"OURS" - program that returns childhood to war children.

Project ʼʼOURSʼʼ— psychological support for children of servicemen aged 6–16.
Project initiator — Mental Health Center ʼʼMIRAʼʼ — professional team of psychologists who have been systematically working with military families since the beginning of full-scale invasion.
We daily receive appeals from parents, teachers and social services regarding the condition of children who live in constant anxiety, expectation and tension due to war.
Over years of work, ʼʼMIRAʼʼ team has implemented dozens of social initiatives: support groups for military women and children, therapeutic programs for teenagers, art-therapeutic and stabilization projects. We work not with theory — we work with real stories of families living in war today.
Project ʼʼOURSʼʼ was born as response to deep community demand. We see children who mature too early, hold back tears, take adult responsibility because «need to be strong».
We start this project because we know: unexpressed emotions don't disappear — they become trauma.
ʼʼOURSʼʼ — is 4 months of weekly psychological groups for three age categories: 6–9, 10–13 and 14–16 years.
This is space where child doesn't need to ʼʼhold onʼʼ, where one can be weak, angry, scared — and be accepted. Here children learn self-regulation, restore trust in world and themselves.
Within project individual psychological support for children and parents is provided, allowing deeper work with traumatic experiences, crisis states and family tension.
Within project participants will create stabilizing ʼʼCorners of Inner Supportʼʼ in schools and community, becoming agents of safe change for peers.
Social impact of project — reducing child anxiety, preventing psychological trauma, stabilizing behavior, forming supportive community and strengthening communities where military families live.
We work not only with war consequences — we preserve mental health of future generation.
Supporting this project, you help military children not stay alone with fears — and preserve light from which community future is born.
