Protect COVID-19 fighters: Fundraising for medical personal protection

Some villages have no protective suits or respirators for doctors.

Despite new local coronavirus outbreaks due to quarantine relaxation, most aid goes to big cities, bypassing many rural clinics treating hundreds of patients with respiratory infections and COVID-19.

Sunflower of Peace with Ukraine Global Scholars graduates launched a fundraiser to help doctors in small towns.

We plan to raise 63,000 UAH to fight COVID-19 in rural areas. This expands existing fundraising among Ukrainian diaspora in USA. Over 2 months the team raised over $5250, allocated $6692 from reserves & provided 16 hospitals with 1500 respirators, 220 protective suits and other equipment.

The fundraiser is fully transparent, we ensure every donation helps doctors. You don't transfer to dubious personal cards, but to official "My City" NGO account. Ukrainian crowdfunding platform where over 60 social projects successfully raised funds.

We also closely work with medical staff of hospitals and clinics where we send aid, ensuring every doctor gets protective equipment. We report all expenses on our website . Thanks to cooperation with powerful nationwide foundations like "Patients of Ukraine" and "Razom for Ukraine", we quickly and efficiently help hospitals that truly need it.

Allowing significant COVID-19 spread in villages, the disease will later spread to densely populated areas. So every hryvnia can make a difference.
