Save hearing - save life

Hello, friend!
We are Surdo School Odesa, since the beginning of the rf invasion we have been helping deaf and hearing-impaired people. Our team has already evacuated more than 20 deaf families to EU countries, and also provided humanitarian aid to 150+ families (approximately 500 people). For over two months we have been successfully raising funds for special batteries and hearing aid accessories and have already distributed them to more than 60 people from Odesa, the region, Mykolaiv and even Vinnytsia and Cherkasy.
We also help deaf refugees with sign language interpretation in humanitarian centers and government institutions.

Now we have decided to start a fundraising campaign to purchase necessary hearing aids and accessories for people who cannot do this now.
Many deaf and hearing-impaired people lost their jobs due to the war and are forced to survive on savings. Currently it's almost impossible for a person with disability to get a job and the hearing-impaired are forced to work odd jobs with dangerous working conditions for meager wages.
Many hearing-impaired people come from combat zones and occupied territories, left to their fate. State compensation is not enough to cover the costs of necessary hearing aids and spare parts (the gap is catastrophic: some devices cost 2 thousand euros, while compensation is provided at 5000 hrn).

Not having funds to purchase hearing products (devices, specific batteries etc.), people choose to buy only food or other necessities. Thus they remain without hearing, exposing themselves to danger and unable to communicate with the outside world adequately.
Many hearing-impaired never learned sign language, so a hearing aid is their only chance for normal life. Being isolated from the outside world is especially scary now, when not hearing something is a direct threat to life.
Whistling and rumbling of rockets - horrors of russia's war in Ukraine. But imagine you don't hear explosions. Imagine you know you're in danger only when explosions are so close that the house you live in shakes. For hearing-impaired people this is reality.
You can help us change this reality. Let's raise 245,000 hrn for hearing aids and accessories and save the lives of Ukrainians with hearing impairments?
