NGO "City Development Platform"
We are a team that believes Kharkiv deserves a new quality of life, even (and especially) during war. The NGO "City Development Platform" has implemented dozens of projects since 2019 to support small and medium business, youth, culture and vulnerable groups.
Among our initiatives:
- Kharkiv Business Hub — comprehensive support for entrepreneurs: from 8 types of consultations to providing generators, starlinks, bulletproof film and even infrastructure restoration
- Cultural projects — from renovating cultural institution buildings to marketing strategies and audits
Our new initiative — bringing life back to the walls of Shevchenko Berezil Theater
This theater is one of the oldest in Ukraine, almost 105 years old. Today it cannot work in its building, despite having a certified shelter. Monthly the theater spends over 200 thousand hryvnias on renting other premises.
Together with the theater team we developed a plan to restore a safe stage on home territory — a place that remembers the voices of the country's greatest actors. This is not just about saving money. This is about coming home, about culture that must live even in times of anxiety.
We believe this initiative will become a symbol of Kharkiv's resilience. With the theater's return home, audiences will again feel that magic capable of uniting and healing.
