Tennis Integration-Adaptive Club for Community Unity

We are the youth council at Slobozhanskyi settlement council together with NGO "Future 22".
Social media:
Slobozhanskyi community is a place where internally displaced persons (IDPs), military families, war veterans and local residents live side by side. However, modern challenges often create social isolation, psychological barriers and disconnection.
The "Tennis Integration-Adaptive Club for Community Unity" project emerged in response to these problems. We aim to create a space where everyone finds support, common interests and leisure opportunities. Installing tennis tables in three key locations — Educational-Youth Space "Step" (Slobozhanskyi), "Undefeated Space" (Donets village) and Youth Space in Sheludkivka village — will become the foundation for community integration through sports and communication.
Our team is driven by a vision of community change. We strive to make table tennis accessible to everyone, turning it into a unifying tool. Table tennis is not just a game. It's an opportunity to laugh, reminisce, build friendships and find inner harmony.
Our team has implemented several successful projects, including:
- "Undefeated" Space in Donets village — a youth center that became home to over 1200 visitors per year.
- Center in Sheludkivka village — jointly with NGO "Building Ukraine Together" created space for active youth from remote villages.
- "Capable and Motivated" project — training for volunteers and community leaders.
- "BURchyk" in Heniivka and Donets villages — setting up youth spaces for cultural development.
This experience proves our ability to successfully implement social initiatives.
Project implementation will help:
- Unite over 500 community residents through event participation.
- Conduct 120 activities during the first year of club operation.
- Overcome social and psychological barriers between different population groups.
- Create new opportunities for communication and leisure.
The tennis club will become a space for training, master classes and tournaments, which will remain accessible to residents after the main activities are completed.
We believe that together we can build a community where everyone feels part of a big family. Join our project to change lives for the better together!
