Switzerland supports GladPet and Ukrainian pets with food funds

The GladPet project continues to master grant funding, so we want to tell you about our new partners from Switzerland!

In June we received 60,353 UAH from the Swiss Susy Utzinger Animal Welfare Foundation for food purchases.

The Susy Utzinger Animal Welfare Foundation uses effective means to ensure that animal suffering in Switzerland and many other countries can be reduced or even prevented in the long term.

The foundation's animal welfare work is based on four main points:

1. Shelters become high-quality transit points for homeless animals, where they are cared for and finally find loving families.
2. Sterilization campaigns.
3. Training and professional development. Specialists are given opportunities to optimize their knowledge and improve animal welfare.
4. Public education: teaching people to love animals with heart and mind.

This directly intersects with GladPet's activities.

Why was it decided to spend money on food?

Despite the fact that 748 animals posted on GladPet found homes during the full-scale war, the problem of providing food for four-legged friends remains relevant.
