Path to sports for vulnerable children

Odesa Charitable Foundation "Way Home" has been helping children improve their life path since 1997. Thousands of them have gone through the Foundation's programs. Our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/OdessaWayHome
Now we see how war corrupts Ukrainian children's childhood and continues to negatively impact children's health, psyche and learning process. "Way Home" Foundation provides psychosocial and educational support to vulnerable children at its own centers, including from IDP families and others affected by war and its consequences. Over 600 children attended Foundation events in 2023.

At the Foundation, children participate in various sports sections for free (basketball, volleyball, football, tennis, wrestling, gymnastics), study English, develop life skills with peers, do creative activities, play, improve school knowledge and much more. Service quality is ensured by top-class trainers, psychologists and teachers, and uninterrupted electricity by powerful generators.
Sports activities additionally require appropriate equipment and uniforms for participants. This is what we ask for your support. All other costs are covered by the Foundation.
These sections are attended by children from low-income families. Thanks to your help, we can reach more children and improve service quality.

Though we cannot return lost homes, loved ones and friends to children, we can bring them joy and benefit from games, communication, competitions, development, simply from normal life. We believe these children will build a free and peaceful Ukraine in the future.
