Online project "Hardened by War"

My greetings, we are from Ukraine!
My name is Eduard Gloza. I am a radio and TV host with many years of experience. Since the beginning of the war, together with a team of like-minded people who are also professionals in their field, we decided to create a series of online stories "Hardened by War". This project is designed to tell the whole world about today's heroes who bring us closer to victory at the cost of their own lives.
The "Hardened by War" project aims to highlight the stories of ordinary Ukrainians who resist the war by doing what they know how to do. Despite the fact that we have one front of confrontation with the Russians, each Ukrainian works in their place to achieve common victory. Military, volunteers, rescuers, medics, activists – each of them today saves and provides, defends and supports.
We must highlight the heroes of the Ukrainian people so that the whole world can see what is happening on our native land. And most importantly – what price Ukrainian society pays for peace and a bright future for all of Europe.
What do you know about a modern Ukrainian?
Probably, before the war, the list of characteristics was based on qualities of kindness, hospitality, hard work. The war revealed to the whole world our courage, resilience, dedication and self-sacrifice. Today every Ukrainian is the embodiment of strength of spirit and unbreakable will. There are many Heroes among us whose stories should sound loud and be heard throughout the world.
Someone is a professional military and has been defending our land continuously since 2014, someone took up arms for the first time this winter, but defends independence just as bravely. It is thanks to them that we fight, stand and ultimately – will win. It is they who defend all of free Europe piece by piece. They are the guarantee that we manage to live a normal life, build the economy, raise children. They are Heroes.
Someone has been volunteering for 8 years, and someone has plunged into this process over the past three months. But both the first and the second have hundreds of stories of gratitude and saved lives. Because their tasks today are to find, buy, deliver. Weapons, bulletproof vests, thermal imagers, cars and in general everything that can facilitate the fight against the enemy. And also medicines, basic necessities, hygiene items for women and children, for everyone who needs it, left without a roof and means of existence. Each of them is our Hero.
The heroism of Ukrainian medical workers can only be envied. Previously, they were on the front line of the fight against the coronavirus pandemic. Now – a war that is stronger, crueler and more unfair than any disease. They witness the greatest grief, they fight for the lives of all who have been burned by war. Only they can help the wounded in field conditions, operate in the absence of everything necessary, ensure the birth of little Ukrainians in absolutely unsuitable places and conditions under shell explosions.
Another Heroes – Ukrainian rescuers. They restore order where bloodthirsty Russian fingers have reached. They eliminate fires after missile strikes, clear debris, search for the wounded, and try to preserve buildings as much as possible. And all this requires considerable effort.
In fact, these are just a few stories, out of thousands, about Ukrainians who showed themselves from the strongest side during the war. So the only thing we have to do is tell the whole world the stories of every Ukrainian.
Heroes are among us. And we must tell our children about them and forever engrave their names in our memory. They are the embodiment of all of Ukraine. Strong, free, unbreakable, which the whole world admires. As well as our People.
Our team consists of five participants, each of whom has a common goal – to tell the truth about Ukrainians. Namely:
