Plastic Waste Processing Workshop

UPDATED: The workshop has been successfully operating for several years. In addition to plastic recycling, project author Yevhen Khlebnykov regularly conducts workshops for children. A full project implementation report can be viewed at this link.

The modern world is unimaginable without plastic products.
We use them for a short time and send them to landfills...
And each of us understands perfectly how destructively plastic affects the environment.
According to numerous observations and surveys - people are ready to sort waste.
But lack of infrastructure kills enthusiasm at the root.
We can talk a lot about problems, but we offer a solution:
1. Open an educational-production workshop for plastic waste processing in Odesa.
now we need 11900 UAH to create equipment (shredder, press) that will allow making plastic sheets of different thicknesses.
2. Organize a transparent plastic fund (collection, logistics),
so that everyone, by handing over recyclables, can contribute to creating a specific object.
3. Optimize the technology for manufacturing useful objects,
which we will install in parks, near museums, in school and clinic lobbies.
4. Experiment, share experience, conduct educational activities, scale up.
and involve active young people in developing and producing objects - organize useful workshops - engage in creativity together.
The idea is based on innovative engineer Dave Hakkens, who developed equipment and published blueprints with instructions (dispelled the myth about the impossibility of plastic recycling "at home").
Support us and together we can
Stop planet pollution with plastic waste.
1. Odesa pollution with plastic waste.
2. Lack of comfortable benches in public places.
1. Launch a plastic processing workshop (Odesa).
2. Organize convenient and transparent plastic collection into a fund, where everyone can direct waste toward creating a specific object.
3. Garden-park designer furniture for urban spaces will be produced from raw materials.
