GladPet Project Development: Ukraine

We love animals and want them to be loved and spared, whenever possible, from human cruelty. So that every animal has a loving and responsible owner (guardian).

We described our vision of the homeless animal problem as clearly as possible in the project Manifesto.

GladPet is an online service gladpet.org for rehoming (adoption) and helping homeless animals.

Project mission: promoting humane treatment of animals.

Project goal: every pet has a loving owner or guardian.

What do we want?

• Speed up the rehoming process: homeless animal — shelter (volunteer) — caring owner.
• Civilize (exactly that) attitudes toward animals.

What has been done already?

The project launched October 4, 2016 in Odesa and region, since April 2018 works throughout the country.

Main project achievements:

• Created and develop site gladpet.org, where 564 pets found new homes are marked.
• Co-organized and held "Home me" festival in Odesa. In one day 38 pets went to new families.
• Facebook page with 6460 active users.
