Help for Odessa veterans, lonely elderly and disabled

Visit and help not only on holidays – main rules of "Help for Odessa Veterans" community.
For over six years, several proactive Odessa residents coordinate help for WWII veterans. In the "Help for Odessa Veterans" community on social media and Odessa forum, volunteers regularly exchange information about care recipients' needs and share work reports. Community founder – Darya Maslova.
"It all started with one message from a local TV channel journalist on Odessa forum – she offered to help several veterans. Everyone had different needs – from installing new windows to buying a water heater. Several forum users responded and decided to continue helping veterans afterward. Over time, we began connecting with organizations and services caring for them. Now we collaborate – everyone has my phone and often contacts me with various requests," says Darya Maslova.
