Parasite treatment for tailed and whiskered

UPD:
War is no reason to forget our four-legged friends.
The project for treating tailed and whiskered animals from parasites raised the necessary amount, but due to the beginning of the full-scale war against Ukraine, unfortunately, did not have time to implement the collected funds. Because the focus shifted to providing various assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who daily repel attacks by Russian invaders.
However, GladPet received a grant from the Canadian foundation «Veterinarians without Borders», which made it possible to fully cover all costs for implementing this project.
That's why, to continue supporting military personnel and bring Ukraine's victory closer – the project team decided to transfer the entire collected amount to the project «Banderomobile for the 92nd Brigade of AFU».
We thank all benefactors who joined the fundraising for this project and hope that Ukraine's victory will come soon!
A shelter is a temporary place for keeping animals, so it's a last resort that should only be used when an animal cannot be placed and find a home with a loving owner.
Currently, two shelters «Kotofeia» and «Mini shelter tea», connected to GladPet Kharkiv network, are running out of parasite treatment drugs, so we decided to help them and provide 128 cats with necessary preventive medications.
Neglecting parasite treatment has risks for the furry ones' health. Prevention is always better and easier than treatment.
Cats can suffer from such main types of helminths as nematodes (roundworms), cestodes (tapeworms) and trematodes (flukes or suckers).
Therefore, it's extremely important to prevent the appearance of foreign inhabitants in animals' bodies.
It depends on us what health the pet will have. A responsible approach will not only increase the cat's lifespan but also protect household members from helminthiasis.

Such antiparasitic treatments are especially important if cats have contact with other animals, to avoid infection with helminths and fleas.
Statistics show that healthy, vaccinated and treated cats have better chances of finding a home and caring owners. Let's try together to give tails a chance for a healthy, carefree life and family!
