Shelter arrangement in the administrative building of Shabo Village Council in Shabo
Our organization NGO "Primary Veterans Organization at Shabo Village Council" provides support to the education department of Shabo TG with this initiative.
We have experience implementing social projects, in 2023 alone we implemented 3 projects: current repairs and equipment of a feldsher-obstetric point in the village, current repairs and shelter arrangement in general secondary education institutions and children's educational institutions, creating boxing sections and patriotic education rooms based on shelters. A Memorandum of Cooperation has been signed between our public organization and Shabo Village Council.
Protection and comfort are integral components of safe educational process. Our goal is to create safe, comfortable and modern conditions for participants in the educational process of the Support Institution "Shabo GSEI I-III levels" and "Shabo GSEI I-III levels"
The shelter arrangement project in the administrative building of Shabo Village Council will create favorable conditions for 921 educational process participants - students, teachers and technical staff. The fact is that the two most powerful educational institutions in Shabo do not provide basement premises that could serve as even the simplest shelter for children. Therefore, it was decided to provide shelter in the administrative building of Shabo Village Council, located near educational institutions, where school children can study in two shifts.
The total shelter area is 743 m2, the shelter can accommodate up to 500 people simultaneously. In addition, a properly equipped shelter will serve as a safe place for residents of Shabo living nearby. Today Shabo Village Council is already finishing necessary repair work in the shelter with a total area of 500 m2 at the expense of the local budget.
With proper shelter arrangement in the administrative building of Shabo Village Council, education of students from two Shabo educational institutions will be conducted offline in two shifts.
In this case, students, teachers and technical staff will be able to be safe and stay in comfortable conditions during air raid alerts, as this is one of the effective options for protecting our children and population during the threat of missile attacks and safety during learning.
The offline format gives students socialization, for a few hours they will have the opportunity to meet with peers, during alarms they will not be alone with their fears.
This project is not only about safety, but also about education and student socialization, ensuring psychological stability of educational process participants. Today it is necessary to urgently arrange the shelter, as there are no conditions for staying in it. It is planned not only to create safe places for learning, but also to arrange an entertainment room to improve the emotional and psychological state of children, we want the shelter to function not only during "air raid alerts" but also in their absence.
