Innovative space BURSA

With the full-scale invasion, Kharkiv, as a border city, has suffered significantly and undergone changes. We don't seek to restore the past Kharkiv, we want to transform it into a city where innovation, education, culture in its broad sense, ecology and inclusivity are sustainable things.

Combining love for Kharkiv with understanding of its uniqueness, we create innovative space BURSA. This is an open yet safe space – a place of creativity, self-realization and education, as well as lectures, exhibitions, concerts and discussions.

We, a team of initiative people who united in the public organization "Urban Development Platform", are creating a network of such public spaces. They will become drivers of city development. Here like-minded people meet, new ideas are generated and communities are formed.

Innovative space BURSA on the territory of Kharkiv State Academy of Culture is our pilot project.

Here you can:

• conduct your lecture, or listen to others' lectures

• organize an exhibition, concert, performance, movie night, and meet other artists

• find like-minded people or investors for your project

• join active communities and discuss relevant topics

• contemplate and enjoy.

Today in Kharkiv there are enough active people who strive to give life to the city, develop it. Our goal is to enable such people to unite to realize their ideas. This will strengthen the city and its culture. New connections between people and communities will form.

What we have already done: On June 26, 2023, we opened the basement gallery on the territory of innovative space BURSA

What we plan: By October 2023 to build a stage-auditorium for cultural-educational events. Open a round table zone for convenient discussions.
