Nevtomni — cultural-artistic project for beloved warriors

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, approximately 700,000 Ukrainians have joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Standing beside these defenders are their partners (loved ones, fiancées, wives).
Through films and books, we have formed a romanticized perception of the role of a woman waiting for her beloved from the front. This experience has nothing to do with romance, but rather with feelings of loneliness, long separation, and inability to continue doing ordinary things together. Added to this is the subsequent life with all the consequences of war.
When our team first read the study by NGO Veteran Hub "Warrior's Beloved Path", we began working on a project idea for women waiting for their loved ones from the front and who also want to feel useful. Perhaps only a part of this target audience can best understand it, so our team includes those who wait and those who feel this topic with their hearts.

In the NGO Veteran Hub study, as well as in our team's research, we heard from the audience about two greatest needs – the need for psycho-emotional support and involvement in volunteer activities.

What does this mean for Ukraine now? Donating and military support are already familiar and understandable matters for us. However, behind many successfully completed combat missions, on the other side of the phone stands his tireless but sometimes lonely beloved person. These women are for their beloved ones, and we want to be for them.
Within the project framework, we plan to implement a cultural-artistic offline retreat for warriors' beloved ones from all over Ukraine. The event program includes: singing therapy, comfortable support groups with psychologists, workshops about volunteering and space for participants to share experiences and pain, support each other and see that they are not alone.
An effective warrior at the front is one who knows that his beloved person in the rear also has support while he is not nearby.
Ready to become support for tireless women together with us?
