"Brain Developer for Mosaic" — sports-play area at school for children with special needs "Mosaic"

"Respect for the personality of a special child" — this idea became the motivation for opening the first Mosaic 5 years ago. Over 5 years, many children went through the school, all were prepared to continue their studies at other schools, and were able to manage without us, which we consider an indicator of success.

But life doesn't stand still, and communicating with mothers of special children in Odessa, they had a question:

-Why isn't there such a school in Odessa?

-Indeed, why, we thought?

And we're happy to announce that as of 01.09.2020 such a school opened its doors for students in Odessa.

"Mosaic" — is a school for children with special needs with special conditions and an educational program that corresponds to their level of development. The school provides a special educational program that gives mental, social adaptation and comprehensive development of children with autism!

Opening the school was possible thanks to cooperation with volunteers, the Department of Education and Science of Odessa City Council, Baptist Church of Odessa, as well as the inexhaustible enthusiasm and desire not to leave such families alone with their problems and questions - of the founder and owner of the school for children with special needs in Brovary - Ksenia Karbovska.

Currently the school operates and teaches students, the only open question is setting up an outdoor sports area for children. At this stage, resources were enough only for preparing premises and purchasing necessary equipment for lessons.

Therefore we are opening a fundraiser for creating a sports-play area at the school for children with special needs "Mosaic", which all school students will be able to visit. The area will give the opportunity in spring, summer, autumn to engage children in active games, physical education in fresh air.
