Summer camp for children with ASD: a breath of peace in the Carpathians

We know what it's like – living in a world where every sound, every touch, every word can become a trial.
For children with autism spectrum disorders (ASD) this world often turns into a battlefield, where every, even the smallest skill is a huge and hard-won victory. And the war... it has amplified each of these challenges many times over.
Their parents – are true heroes who fight daily for their children's right to ordinary life and happiness. They give all their strength, time and resources to provide proper support. Often, this means giving up their own life, work, dreams.
Understanding this pain, we want to give them a moment of rest. Create a place where they can breathe out, feel the warmth of human hearts and nature's beauty – a summer camp in the heart of the Carpathians.
7 days among the mountains, where 14 children with ASD and their caregivers can:
- Let go of war anxieties, feeling unity with nature
- Gather strength, peace and inspiration for further fighting for their children's success
- Restore emotional balance among those who understand without words
- Give children moments of true carefree happiness
This isn't just rest – it's a breath of fresh air for those who live their whole lives under constant stress. It's an opportunity for all participants to feel support and care, as during the day children will engage in various activities promoting their development and socialization. Parents will also have the opportunity to rest, attend workshops aimed at supporting their psychological state and sharing experiences. And in the evenings, by a cozy fire or during other joint activities, everyone can enjoy communication and feel part of a big friendly family.
Summer camp "Breath of Peace" isn't just rest. It's – hope. Hope that even in the darkest times, light can be found. Together we can give 14 special families 7 days of peace, love and recovery.
Help us create an oasis of peace in the heart of the Carpathians, where every child with ASD can feel happy and carefree, and every mother and father – breathe a little, rest and find strength for the continued daily struggle for their child's smallest skills.
