Home Me Fest #3 - festival for shelter animals

In 2018 we held two charity festivals for shelter animals in Odessa — Home Me Fest.

This event was made possible thanks to the support of partners and people who care about the fate of homeless animals.

The first festival was held on May 27 at Riviera Mall, where citizens met shelter residents, listened to useful lectures and chose four-legged friends — 38 pets found new families. And on September 16 we held the second festival at "Your Garden" garden center. This time 79 pets (44 cats and 35 dogs) became domestic!

Each festival all participating pets undergo vaccination and veterinary examination by "Dar" clinic specialists.

During the two festivals we were visited by 5,000 guests.

257 animals were looking for new homes at the festival.

What else we are very happy about:

• even after Home Me ended, people continue to visit shelters to adopt pets;
• volunteers' help to animals didn't remain within one festival day, they continue to participate in shelter and homeless animal life daily;
• thanks to freed shelter spaces, new tails needing help can get there.

More people support the idea of adopting shelter animals. More people open their hearts to pets regardless of breed and origin.

Thanks to everyone's support, we now know for sure that Home Me Fest is needed by our city. So we gathered strength and announce preparation for Home Me Fest #3, which we'll hold in May 2019.
