Why is it important not to throw away banners?
Because one banner can decompose from 100 to 500 years.
«3.14BAN | PIBAN» is a brand of modern conscious consumption culture. We produce accessories, bags, merch from used banners. Our mission is to form a culture of conscious consumption in Ukraine. We are about "smart" recycling and uniqueness. We are about handwork and individual approach.

The story of how it all began at "Piban"
Back in 2019, a large number of old unwanted banners were found in the back room of a former job. The information on these banners was outdated: non-working website, phones, etc. We asked ourselves how they could be recycled.
We learned that there is no banner recycling plant in Ukraine, that used banners most often end up in landfills and this material decomposes from 100 to 500 years. We decided to give a second life to this durable fabric and sew something that would be useful in everyday life. So we sewed our first shopper bag, which we still use to send our packages to the post office.

3.14BAN is a brand of modern conscious consumption culture. We produce accessories, bags, merch from used banners. We fulfill custom orders for companies and conduct seminars/lectures on ecology.
Our project's mission is to form a culture of conscious consumption in Ukraine.
For every bag sold, we plant one tree together with "Mom, plant a tree".

Our beautiful center of Kharkiv, its historic part is filled with banner advertising. The aesthetics and attractiveness of such structures is very subjective and not to everyone's taste. Huge banners on buildings don't allow you to enjoy the city's beauty and architecture. Advertising should not devalue and cover facades of historic buildings, especially in the city center.
We propose taking a course to reduce banner advertising. At the same time, irrelevant banners are better recycled rather than thrown into landfills where they will decompose for 200 years and pollute the environment. We're ready to sew useful everyday products from banners 3.14BAN: shoppers, waist bags, wallets, laptop cases. To implement this idea we need to increase our production capacity by purchasing new equipment that will help speed up eco-accessory manufacturing.

We ask you to support us and together clean the city of banner advertising and waste :)
