Dream ECOnomy

Welcome to the "Dream ECOnomy" project page! We are the public organization "Dream of Free People", which since 2022 has been working to support people affected by war, veterans, and animal shelters. You can learn about our activities on our Instagram page: @mriya.od.ua

Previous experience:

Over two and a half years of the "Dream ECOnomy" project's existence, we have processed over 60 tons of waste. This helped generate resources for many social projects: in collaboration with other participants, we delivered 3 million liters of water to Mykolaiv, and each time we collected used bottles from people, reducing environmental pressure; thanks to secondary raw material collection, the Dream Resilience Center was set up in liberated Snihurivka; secondary waste was converted into fuel that allowed us to continue traveling to various liberated settlements. We organized 5 retreat weekends for veterans undergoing treatment; we also care for five animal shelters and conduct environmental lectures in educational institutions. We cleaned up illegal dumps, cleaned the territory where wounded soldiers are treated, developed a mobile reception point that now visits various events and collects waste at them, cooperating with Nova Poshta we receive packages from all over Ukraine. We actively cooperate with NGO "City of the Future" in Odesa: we regularly conduct ECO routes, implement the Plastic Saves Lives project and much more. We have Dream reception point, sorting station and large community supporting the project.

Why we submitted the project to the platform:

The "Dream ECOnomy" project solves two important problems — environmental and social. On one hand, we reduce the amount of waste polluting the environment, and on the other — we direct collected resources to support social initiatives. Our drive is the desire to make Ukraine cleaner and safer, supporting communities that need help.

Social impact:

Implementation of the "Dream ECOnomy" project will lead to significant positive changes in society. The level of environmental awareness and responsibility among the population will increase, and the amount of waste polluting the environment will decrease. Importantly, the project will strengthen social bonds, as joint participation in environmental initiatives promotes unity and responsibility among people.

We are confident that the implementation of the "Dream ECOnomy" project will become an example of how environmental initiatives can bring real benefits not only to nature, but to society as a whole. Together we can make the world cleaner and create better conditions for our future.
