All-Ukrainian environmental action "Let's Make Ukraine Clean Together!"
In order to improve Ukraine's environmental situation, develop the All-Ukrainian volunteer movement, and share a common aspiration for a better future in building the environmental sector, the public organization "Let's do it, Ukraine" together with the international movement "Let's Do It! World" under the patronage of the President of Ukraine's wife Marina Poroshenko with support from public organizations conducts an annual all-Ukrainian socio-environmental action for cleaning green areas and landscaping territories - "Let's Make Ukraine Clean Together!", which will take place on April 29, 2017 from 10:00 throughout Ukraine.
Within the action, projects will be conducted: the all-Ukrainian environmental festival "CleanFest", the country's largest cleanup, forums, round tables and other events.
Ukrainian citizens, commercial and non-commercial organizations, companies and state institutions whose employees join the action at the level of corporate social responsibility, mass media, stars and public opinion leaders participate in the action.
In 2016, about 700,000 participants in 24 regions at 5,000 locations joined the action. In 2017, "Let's do it, Ukraine" planned over 1,000,000 participants and 5,000 locations throughout the country.
The projects have deep social significance in forming a national culture of cleanliness as they unite civil society, business representatives and state authorities in solving waste management issues and simultaneously promote volunteer movement development in Ukraine.
