Help for shelters in Kharkiv and Odesa from GladPet 2.0 project

For the second consecutive month, thanks to the Canadian foundation "Veterinarians without Borders" the GladPet project manages to organize help for four-legged shelters. In May, the "Veterinarians without Borders" foundation allocated a grant of 971,977 UAH for Ukrainian furry friends. The funds will be spent on purchasing:

• Animal feed;
• Feed for targeted distribution to curators, foster homes and guardians (across Ukraine) together with UVS (Ukrainian Volunteer Service);
• Litter;
• Veterinary drugs;
• Medical preparations;
• Sterilizations in Odesa;
• Targeted advertising;
• Logistical and administrative costs.

As a reminder, in April the first grant from "Veterinarians without Borders" of 831,247 UAH was allocated to the project. Thanks to these funds, the following was purchased for shelter needs:

• 5,945.3 kg of feed;
• 6,112 pcs of preparations;
• 585 kg of litter.

As of 30.05.2022 within the project we provided aid to four-legged shelters and volunteers totaling:

• 3,545 kg of feed for 1,060 animals;
• 1,324 pcs of preparations;
• 585 kg of litter.
