Children's playground for "Learn'N'Play" child development center
Charitable organization "100 percent of life. Kyiv region" (https://100lifekyiv.org/ https://www.facebook.com/100lifeKyiv/) since 2001 provides assistance to people in difficult life circumstances in medical-social, psychological and legal support, diagnosis and treatment of socially dangerous diseases, and provides humanitarian aid. The organization was created by an initiative group of people living with HIV to protect and help people with this diagnosis. Over the years, it has significantly expanded its activities beyond just HIV infection, covering other socially significant issues.
Since 2023, as part of the "social responsibility" direction, the organization began creating a social enterprise - the "Learn'N'Play" child development center. The center will provide services to pre- and school-age children, including individual and group sessions with psychologists, speech therapists and social educators. It will also help with homework, organize joint leisure, developmental activities, sports activities and summer camps. Special conditions will be created for HIV-positive children and internally displaced children.
Currently, the center has been equipped with the organization's own funds and is preparing to open from April 1, 2025. However, for full functioning, it is necessary to arrange a children's playground for leisure and physical activities in the fresh air.
Why is a playground important for the center? - Games and joint leisure in the fresh air promote physical development, socialization and adaptation of children. Spending time outdoors in a playful way helps reduce stress levels, improve mood and general psychological state of children, especially those who have experienced difficult life circumstances. Setting up a children's playground will allow the "Learn'N'Play" center to create the most comfortable and safe conditions for development, leisure and socialization of children who will visit it. This, in turn, will contribute to the overall efficiency of the center and improve the quality of services we provide.
