Center for Wounded Civilians Aid

I, Olga Ridna, am the head of the charitable organization "Charitable Foundation "Development and Social Justice of Ukraine""
From the first days of the war, our team has been providing comprehensive assistance to families with wounded or deceased children, women and men (civilians). In Kharkiv, we opened a center for wounded civilians, where we provide humanitarian, psychological and legal aid.
Now our center urgently needs financial support. Currently, we cover premises rent, transport costs, expert payments and purchasing necessary items for the wounded from our own funds and donations from benefactors.
The main problem is that the state practically doesn't help families with wounded children, women or men (civilians). Wounded people in Kharkiv and Kharkiv region (hundreds of people of different ages) are forced to pay for treatment, very expensive operations, prosthetics, rehabilitation, and buy necessary products and medicines with their own money. Moreover, most of them cannot work due to poor health and receive no payments. There are also many violations in disability registration, people don't know where to seek legal help. Everyone (both wounded and their family members) needs qualified help from psychotherapists experienced in PTSD (post-traumatic stress disorder). Wounded children or teenagers suffer especially, as well as children who witnessed their parents being wounded or killed.
This project aims to help families of victims (wounded civilians), primarily those with wounded children and teenagers, women. Assistance is provided comprehensively: food packages, hygiene kits, psychotherapist services, lawyer services, finding medical institutions and rehabilitation centers, socialization help.
Fundraising will help pay for legal services, transport costs and purchasing medicines for the wounded.
