Publishing a book on Odessa exhibitions

ABOUT OUR PROJECT:
Dear friends, we invite everyone who cares about our city's history to support the social project "Odessa Exhibitions – Pages of History".
The history of Odessa — a city with long-standing traditions — is inseparably linked with exhibitions. However, as Kurban Said claimed, "everything existing in the world disappears and ends. Only what is written remains". Guided by the desire to preserve for posterity one of the most interesting but unexplored pages of Odessa's history, a group of enthusiasts began work on the project "Odessa Exhibitions — Pages of History".
The first book of the series, timed to the 100th anniversary of the art and industrial exhibition held in Odessa in 1910-1911, was published in 2011. It outlined the period from the birth of exhibitions and fairs until 1917.
In the second book, the authors propose to continue acquaintance with the history of Odessa exhibitions and explore the period from 1917 to 1991. The reader will become familiar with important events and names of Odessa residents, whose role and significance are quite considerable for the development of the Odessa region, and can serve as an example for further development of the exhibition movement as an important component of economic, cultural and social development of the country.
Now there is a delay: there are insufficient funds to pay for printing services. Therefore the authors appeal to caring Odessa residents, regional inhabitants and all who are interested in Odessa history in its various manifestations, with a request for assistance.
❤Love Odessa – make it an offer!❤
