"Stop – charge up!" -(useful space arrangement - solar tree installation)

Our public organization "While the heart lives in us" was created recently, but we have an initiative team and something to boast about. Here are our implemented projects:

1.Cooperation with NGO "ICF "Hands of Friends"

In cooperation with the International Charitable Foundation "Hands of Friends" and with the support of Plan International, funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany (BMZ), in 2023 a large-scale space modernization project was implemented at the V. Bulayenko Central Library (Krasiliv). As a result, the library received:

• new furniture;
• computer and copying equipment with accessories;
• multimedia equipment.

It's comfortable to hold various events, meetings and training here. In particular, participants of the University of the Third Age gladly attend classes for learning Polish and Ukrainian languages, communicate and meaningfully spend time in a friendly atmosphere.

2. "Save the Children International" — creating the "InformStyle" center

Within the "Save the Children" project, a multifunctional "InformStyle" center was created in the library — a safe and free space for children, teenagers, adults and internally displaced persons.

In the center, everyone can:

• gain skills in using programs for creating images, videos and presentations;
• participate in master classes and trainings;
• meaningfully spend time with friends and like-minded people.

3. "Children of Ukraine" Project (CO "Worldwide Orphans")

Since 2023, our NGO cooperates with the International Charitable Organization Worldwide Orphans, implementing classes using the Rise Alliance for Children methodology.The methodology aims at comprehensive child development — emotional, social and cognitive. Thanks to the project, a stable and safe environment has been created where children can learn, develop and feel confident.

Our NGO doesn't have a separate social media page yet – we will definitely create one, currently we describe all our activities on the V. Bulayenko Central Library page:

We decided to submit the project to the platform for several reasons:

1. In our community and city in particular, there's a great lack of outdoor spaces for youth - where young people could gather for communication or joint leisure. In Krasiliv, youth gathers near the most lit place at night – near the local "ATB" supermarket. Our project will offer youth a nice cozy place in the city center – with constant lighting regardless of blackouts thanks to solar panels!
2. The ability to charge electronic devices becomes a vital necessity, especially now – when the enemy deliberately attacks our energy infrastructure. And as always at the wrong moment, phones, tablets and other portable devices turn out to be discharged. Implementing our project will create a place for free phone charging.
3. The project aims to encourage and support the idea of using clean energy and qualitatively improve the public space of Krasiliv!

The idea of installing such a modern and convenient object appeared to the team long ago. The time has come to turn the dream into reality.

Social impact from implementing our project:

1. Creating modern, aesthetically attractive infrastructure.
2. Arranging a recreation area with benches and gadget charging capability.
3. Providing an alternative source of electricity for lighting and charging stations.
4. Increasing community resilience during emergency outages.
5. Creating space for youth meetings and communication.
