Fundraising for purchasing a car for volunteer needs
In peacetime our public organization "Platform of Changes" was engaged in educational direction for youth and conducting social and educational events. But the war with russia does not allow us to stay aside.
Now we are raising money for a minibus to transport humanitarian aid and evacuate Kharkiv residents. I thank you all who responded and help. We have already collected about $1500 together, $4500 remains and the collection continues.
Back in 2014 when russia started military actions in eastern Ukraine, our team and seamstresses made sleeping bags for the 92nd AFU brigade and transferred them to the front for free. In February this year, when russia's large-scale invasion began, I saw that many Ukrainians need evacuation to safe places. So we created a telegram chat-bot with all necessary info about housing, transport and work in Ukraine and abroad. Our team quickly helped over 5000 Ukrainians (https://t.me/ukrainehelp2022bot).
Now I see a serious problem that quite a lot of humanitarian aid is brought to Western Ukraine from Poland, Germany and other countries, but it simply doesn't reach Eastern Ukraine. We have many villages, towns and city districts where there are people in need and where volunteers simply don't go. These settlements remain unattended, people there starve and die in harsh conditions.
Therefore we are raising money to buy a minibus that will travel both to Western Ukraine evacuating people, and on the way back will take humanitarian aid and transport it to the East to specific people in need, so there will be help in both directions and thus we will save hundreds of Ukrainian lives. We have already found a driver ready to travel for free and carry out this mission.
I believe that very soon we will collect the necessary amount, but for this we need as many people as possible to join this initiative. It doesn't matter what amount you send, your participation is important.
