Support for NGO "About You and Ukraine"

The public organization "About You and Ukraine" is an initiative working at the intersection of culture, education and civic participation. Our mission is to promote the study and rethinking of Ukrainian culture by youth to form a conscious and responsible society.

We believe in a society where everyone is a bearer and creator of culture. That's why we develop programs that help young people learn their history at the level of family, community and region, and form their own position through art and dialogue.

In recent years, we have implemented a number of cultural and educational projects. In particular, we created a cultural and educational space at the Zdolbuniv Local History Museum, developed exhibitions "Multicultural Space of Zdolbuniv" and "Former Prison" that reveal complex pages of local history.

Within the "Culture of Unity" project, we worked with internally displaced persons, promoting their integration through cultural activities, educational events and consultations.

We also implemented the "Art of Dialogue" project, which covered youth in several regions of Ukraine and helped them master dialogue tools as a way of interaction in society.

Today we are building a community of active youth ready to take responsibility for changes in their communities. By launching institutional fundraising, we strive to ensure stable work of the organization: team support, development of educational and cultural programs, communication and engagement of new participants.

This activity is important because it creates an environment of trust, dialogue and awareness of one's own identity. With support, we will be able to scale our initiatives, strengthen impact in communities and engage more youth in creating change.

Community rules and opportunities

People who make monthly donations to support the organization automatically become part of our Philanthropist Community. Community members get special opportunities: invitations to closed lectures and events, thematic meetings, celebration of important dates of the organization and other bonuses for the closest support circle. Communication within the community will be conducted via email.

People who want to join through volunteering can become volunteers of the organization. After 3 months of active participation, a volunteer can receive an official certificate of volunteer activity, which can be used for grant, educational or professional applications.

After that, if desired, volunteers can apply for membership in the organization if they are ready to devote more time to developing the initiative. For this, it is necessary to submit an official application and get approval from the organization's Board.

A community member can stop participation at any time of their own volition. The organization for its part supports the principles of mutual respect, openness, equality and shared responsibility for environmental development.

We form a community of three levels: the core is the organization team; volunteers - people who are ready to help us with their skills and donors - people who are interested in supporting our activities financially.

In 3 months we plan to attract 5 volunteers and 20 regular donors.

For the first donors in July we will conduct an online lecture "Genealogy. Researching your own lineage".

We have prepared merch with original design of our organization for people who make large one-time donations:
