Middle Of Nowhere — is a team that strives to support local artists in Vinnytsia and welcome artists from different corners of Ukraine. Our main goal is to create an environment in Vinnytsia where contemporary art is a natural part of everyday life. We create a creative space that will become an alternative to the need to travel to other cities for this purpose. Middle Of Nowhere — is a state of bright light within a person that doesn't depend on place. A state when creativity seeks an outlet and is ready to unite with ideas of spiritually kindred people.

Our organization grew from the artistic association «MON» — an independent initiative that worked with urban space through performance. In 2023, our physical space MONTAЖ appeared in Vinnytsia — as the next development step. In this space we:

• conducted several artistic residencies with artists from different cities of Ukraine
• organized hundreds of cultural events in various formats, including: Heavenphetamine band concerts, events within EU4Culture festival, MYPH conceptual and art photography school exhibitions, "BLOSSOM. Shevchenko" performance by "Word and Voice" theater, "Tychyna: phenomenon of the era" performance by "DakhTrio", etc.

In parallel, we form communities around regular formats such as: music jams, film club, photo club, etc.

A community core has already formed around us — people who regularly interact with the space, participate in events and support our activities. At the same time, we understand that community sustainability is formed under stable conditions, which we don't have in full.

In winter we worked thanks to a borrowed generator, this allowed us not to stop the space's operation, but this is not a stable long-term solution. We managed to maintain financial stability by renting out the premises, but this is a dependent model that doesn't always justify itself.

That's why we enter the crowdfunding field. Our basic goal is purchasing a generator as the first necessary condition for stability.
