Who we are
Buryn, Sumy region. 20 kilometers from the border with russia. A city where air raid alarms are heard daily — and where people consciously choose to stay every day.
The team of the Community Initiatives Development Center «DREAM» works here despite the war, together with the community — to prove: even in a frontline city there is a place for development, ideas and future.
What's the problem
Young people in Buryn now have virtually nowhere to go, due to the lack of safe spaces. Nowhere to hide during air raids. No place to gather, talk, come up with something new, feel part of something bigger.
When a young person sees neither opportunities, nor community, nor movement around them — they leave. It's not a choice from the heart. It's a choice from despair.
How we solve this
We are creating O.S.NOVA — a youth hub right in a shelter. A place that is safe during air raids, has stable internet and electricity, where you can work, have coffee, meet with people and give birth to an idea that will change the community.
Renovation has already begun — with our own efforts and resources. Some furniture and equipment are already available. But for the space to function fully and permanently — a community of people who choose to be nearby is needed.
Why it's worth supporting
Because every hryvnia here is about supporting those who consciously stay to develop the community further, despite the invasion of occupiers.
It doesn't matter where you are now — in Buryn, in another city or abroad. Support from 100 hryvnias already makes this space real. And regular contribution allows us to plan, act and scale.

Our community is a circle of people who support youth development in Buryn and believe in the future of small communities.
Over 3 months we aim to form a base of 25 subscribers who regularly support the space financially and informationally.
For this we launch regular communication, participant stories, closed updates and opportunities to join the life of the space.
