Before Russia's full-scale invasion, the hotel and restaurant laboratory of Kherson State University was an important educational space where students gained practical experience in culinary arts, restaurant service, and hospitality management.

However, the war destroyed university buildings and the laboratory, and a significant part of the equipment was stolen or damaged by occupiers. Currently, the university has relocated to Ivano-Frankivsk, and we strive to restore the laboratory so our students can once again receive the necessary practical training for their profession.
Kherson State University, its students and faculty have experienced unspeakable hardships due to the war. Kherson, where our institution was located, suffered enormous destruction – our buildings and laboratories came under shelling.

The hotel and restaurant laboratory, which was the pride of the faculty and where students learned to cook, serve guests and manage restaurant business, was almost completely destroyed. Materials and equipment that were saved were transported to Ivano-Frankivsk, but a significant part was stolen or destroyed by occupiers.

We cannot leave our students without practical training — this is their future, their chance to build a career and contribute to Ukraine's reconstruction after the war.
We plan to restore the laboratory in Ivano-Frankivsk by purchasing necessary equipment so students can continue to acquire practical skills vital for their future profession.
We need:
- Professional kitchen equipment (ovens, stoves, mixers, refrigerators, etc.)
- Dishes and inventory for bar service
- Educational materials and textbooks
- Furniture for setting up the space
