Hold the line! Help for four-legged ones 2.0

GladPet — a nationwide project for rehoming stray animals through an online resource. The project has been running for 10 years and during this time 14,247 animals have found their home.

Since the start of the full-scale war we have not stopped our activities, but on the contrary, launched additional areas of work. We began working in the humanitarian direction and provide targeted assistance to shelters and public organizations, volunteers who rescue animals from the war. We were supported financially and humanitarianly by Ukrainian businesses: Netpeak Group, Hill's and international animal welfare organizations: Veterinarians without Borders, Susy Utzinger Animal Welfare Foundation.

We believe that during the war we can help animals and their caretakers. Working in animal welfare before the war was difficult, now it is even harder, as there are more abandoned animals, demand for food and medications is growing, and populations are increasing in number. We are ready to focus our efforts on helping animals, but we cannot always do this on our own, and for this we need your help.

We are now asking you, caring Ukrainians, entrepreneurs, and businesses to support our project and allow us to continue helping our furry friends. Your 100, 200, 500 or more hryvnias are equally important to us. If you want to support us on a systematic basis, set up a monthly payment.

Today our team works in several directions, each of which helps overcome the humanitarian crisis:

1. Rehoming animals through our online resource.
2. Helping animals with food, medications and other necessary items through joint fundraising together with friendly businesses.
3. Distributing food, together with Hill's, to public organizations that rescue animals from the war and create shelters for animals

Our team consists of dedicated all-rounders. That is exactly how we describe each member of our team. All-rounders, because they can be a warehouse manager, contact center operator, or communications manager all in one. Dedicated, because they boldly and confidently pursue their goal — helping animals.

Behind each direction of our project stands the work of 7 people:

• the GladPet project manager, who coordinates the project's work, improves the adoption process, launches and supports partner initiatives and charitable fundraising;
• the operations director, who seeks financial support and implements grant projects;
• the operations manager, who coordinates the humanitarian food support process and maintains communication with all animal organizations in need of assistance;
• the communications manager, who covers the project's activities on social media;
• the website developer, who improves the website and resolves technical issues;
• the accountant and lawyer, who ensure transparent operations, proper documentation collection and reporting.
