"Klaptyk" Scholarship — free sewing and handicraft classes for children.

We are Creative Circle Klaptyk. A public organization born in a workshop and grown into a very creative community. Since 2021, we've been uniting adults and children in Ivano-Frankivsk, everyone interested in sewing and handicrafts.
Our workshop operates a sewing coworking space. You can use all equipment. And no worries if you don't know how. If there's a need or desire, we'll teach you. Everyone has learned our motto: "You can sew anything here!". And also fantasize, develop brands, share experience and get support. Sew toys or clothes, crochet or knit, experiment with materials — classes often have "creative chaos" where curiosity, skills, and joy from process and result are born through play.
Adults fulfill childhood dreams or suddenly realize that "wrong hands" is a myth. Children become more confident and stop fearing mistakes. Career guidance classes with teenagers help them open up and better feel their potential.
Parents support our format because they see positive changes in children. They notice improved perception of school subjects. Because, as it turns out, our classes include STEM education basics. Geometry, math, drawing, art, anatomy, engineering thinking...
With the full-scale war, our activities expanded. We began sewing for military and hospitals, uniting people around helping. We organized cutting and sewing courses to expand the sewing volunteer movement.
We also worked with war-affected children, particularly IDPs, helping them adapt. We organized clubs, day camps, art therapy programs. Created items to contribute to charity drives.
That's when we again felt: children want to participate, but parents often lack financial means. We want to change this. Our projects aren't one-time but have logical continuation. We seek opportunities and support.
So we're launching a sustainable scholarship program for children from vulnerable and privileged categories for free class attendance.
To make this opportunity permanent, we're creating a support community — a circle of like-minded people who resonate with our mission. We invite you to support a space that works daily. We want access to not depend on family income.
Klaptyk is about accessibility, support and sustainability, about opportunities for children and changes that stay with them long-term.
