Sunny Dreams: a happy emotions park for orphans
Charitable Foundation "Grow Up in a Family" – a charitable organization that cares for orphaned children who, after losing their parents, are raised by their grandparents.
Our mission: to minimize the placement of orphaned children in institutions and promote family-based forms of upbringing.
The foundation's activities began in 2021, and we currently regularly support 1,100 families raising 1,700 orphaned children across 12 regions of Ukraine. Throughout this time, our efforts have been directed not only at covering basic needs, but also at the development, socialization, and comprehensive support of orphaned children, for which we have created 10 diverse projects.
Most of these children have never traveled beyond their own homes and have no opportunity to attend summer camps, travel around Ukraine, and experience emotional exhaustion and a lack of positive impressions. That is why we are building a community of people who, together with us, can give orphaned children unforgettable experiences, new friendships, meaningful recreation, and emotional recovery. Each community member will be able to, in addition to financial support, join the project as a volunteer and contribute their ideas during the implementation of the initiative.
In 2025, we launched the "Sunny Dreams" project so that orphaned children could see the world beyond their own home. As part of this project, we are launching a fundraiser to organize a one-day trip for 20 orphaned children from the Odesa region (+5 accompanying adults) to the "New Vasyuki" amusement park, accompanied by foundation coordinators and volunteers. The park features: 3 water zones with slides and pools, 12 giant dry attractions, 10 exciting activity areas with animals, a restaurant, a grill park, and much more. There is also an opportunity to meet exotic bird species at an ostrich farm. By visiting the park, children will gain a wealth of positive emotions and joyful memories for life.
Thanks to the "Sunny Dreams" project, last year 250 orphaned children from 12 regions of Ukraine were already able to attend summer camps and make their first journey through our wonderful Ukraine.
