We are enthusiasts from the MeGoElectric development team from Mykolaiv. Our startup creates any kind of two-, three- or four-wheeled transport with electric motors.

We are confident in Ukraine's victory and already understand that we must thank our defenders who suffered as a result of combat actions in the future.

Also, each of us has friends who, as a result of illness or accident, can only move in "active" or "passive" wheelchairs.

According to our statistics, 7 out of 10 such people would like to drive a car, 5 out of 10 can physically do it, two of them would like to have work related to transport.

And how many such people will there be after the war?

No one can answer this question yet. But that there will be many times more such people relative to the number before the war, no one doubts.

Two years ago we started developing electric car prototypes for people in wheelchairs. Technically they are almost developed. Only the question of creating prototypes and testing remained.

We asked ourselves in 2023, is this project needed now? But we asked the same question a year and two ago. So we decided that - When, if not right now?

Because we waited for better times, but even worse ones came...

We believe that we must acknowledge now that after the war ends, the number of people in wheelchairs will increase, most optimistically, only twofold. And this number will increase due to people who were physically affected by the war, most of them are former military personnel. That is, these are men and women who, in peacetime, were the active part of Ukraine's population. And after the war ends they either get the same problems that people in wheelchairs had for 20 years since our country's independence, or they get the opportunity to continue being an active part of society.

And for this to be possible, we need to create cars whose body construction is designed specifically for people in wheelchairs, and not try to somehow adapt car designs created for physically healthy people.

Retrofitting regular cars so that people in wheelchairs can somehow sit in them, in our opinion, is utopia.

Therefore, we want to first create car prototypes, identify all shortcomings, improve what is possible, and then develop a finished product – a serial passenger car in which one to two or four people in wheelchairs can move around the city, for example, military or civilians who suffered spinal injuries.

Our startup became one of the best "green" startups in the world according to ClimateLaunchpad 2022 competition and EIT JumpStarter 2023 startup competition from all over Europe. Both times we won in the Urban Transitions category.

That is, we understand urban electric transport.

If specific questions arise - we will answer all.
