"Finance for Kids" Educational Course
According to the study "Financial Literacy, Financial Inclusion and Financial Well-being in Ukraine", conducted within the USAID project in June 2019, Ukrainians have the lowest level of financial literacy compared to other countries – 11.6 out of 21 points.
We aim to help change this trend! And make our contribution to Ukraine's future today!
We are confident that after Victory our country will become a true center of development and technology in Europe! Teaching our children is the strategically most important goal today. Educational investment today will prevent such disasters as now from happening again in the future. This generation will rebuild independent, strong and united Ukraine and they must have a good foundation for this great construction!
We believe that strengthening basic education is extremely important now. Experts say that conversations with children about money should begin from age three! From early age children closely observe adults, they copy their parents' behavior, their attitude to various things, including money. For a child to form correct understanding of money, it's important for parents to explain what money is, why it needs to be earned and saved. Future success directly depends on financial education in childhood.
That's why we want to develop a separate online Financial Literacy course that children from IDP families will receive for free. Course duration – 15 lessons. After completion children will:
- learn to manage funds
- understand where they come from
- understand how to earn them
- learn about investing, startups and other entrepreneurship nuances.
