Rock for Animal Rights
International charity festival "Rock for Animal Rights" has taken place in more than 80 cities during its year and a half of existence.
Festival goal:
- informing about homeless animal problems;
- increasing public activity in animal protection;
- fundraising for shelters.
We plan to hold two festivals in Chornomorsk and Odessa.
On April 19 we will hold an open air on the main street of Chornomorsk. Besides musical performances, we will organize an eco-products fair, entertainment for children and adults, and a photo zone with pictures of "tails" looking for homes.
The festival will collect funds to help shelters in Odessa and Odessa region. We will give memorable gifts to all who donate.
Supporting the idea of humane treatment of animals, we hold other events:
- in late February we held a house concert where people listened to music and discussed possible help for homeless animals. Anyone could participate in a challenge and get a task that could slightly improve homeless animals' lives;
- March 6 there will be a concert at MoreMusicClub;
- April 11 we will hold a kindness lesson for children in Chornomorsk.
On "My City" platform we are raising money to organize the festival in Chornomorsk. If the fundraising succeeds, we will start preparing for the festival in Odessa.
