TOGETHER - volunteer psycho-emotional support project

From the first days of March, NGO "DC "Partner" with other public organizations began responding to humanitarian problems in Kharkiv. One of the largest humanitarian hubs in the east was created, where about 630 volunteers came and transported aid further, forgetting their past affairs. In autumn 2022, volunteer activity began to decline.

There were blackouts and harsh winter, but volunteers continued delivering humanitarian aid to frontline territory, their strength was running out. In November 2022, the "Together" project was created.

"Together" project — supporting those on whom millions depend. We conduct events aimed at rest, reboot and acquiring new skills by volunteers. The project has 4 activity directions: sports (football, volleyball, dancing, billiards), educational (financial literacy trainings, public speaking, sales), psychological support groups and local self-government school, where volunteers build dialogue with local authorities, conveying citizens' needs.

Already now more than 350 Kharkiv volunteers participate in the project, some are entrepreneurs, have IDP status and they all continue their volunteer service.

We want to make training conducted within the project more accessible: record lecture materials, live broadcasts, which will help volunteers from regions and other cities join.

We don't know when the war will end, but we know for sure that victory is impossible without the volunteer movement.
