Public oversight of playgrounds in Odessa

At the beginning of 2016, Olesya Krok posted a project on the "My City" platform, which aimed to change citizens' mentality regarding city cleanliness and cleaning up after pets.

The results of this project were dozens of actions carried out, installation of signs and stands with explanatory information, sand analyses from playgrounds for the presence of worms (which gave positive results), and, most importantly, with support from deputies and the public, by mayor's order №896 of 09.09.2016, a "Working group to improve sanitary conditions, aesthetic appearance and maintain cleanliness in Odessa" was created.

Within the work of this group, among other things, the issue was raised that the city's playgrounds are, for the most part, in unsatisfactory condition. The lists of registered and maintained playgrounds in the city's district administrations are significantly fewer than in reality. Therefore, we plan to collect information about all city playgrounds and legalize them within the group's activities.
