History Shelf: creating a place to store museum exhibits

UPD:
To develop culture, it must first be preserved. With pain in our hearts, we watch footage of occupiers destroying cultural and historical monuments in Kharkiv, Kyiv and other cities.
It's hard to believe that ancient architecture, picturesque streets and other places simply disappear against the backdrop of cities. We sincerely love Odesa and don't want the same to happen here.
That's why by collective decision with the authors of projects "Student Open Space", "History Shelf", "Reconstruction of the Cook Equatorial Telescope Tower" and "Litera 2.0", it was decided to redirect all collected funds to city defense, namely to support the army and territorial defense.
The total amount is — 89,278 hryvnias.
Thank you to all benefactors who supported these projects. Your funds will go to preserving Odesa and its culture. We will report in detail about expenses on our social networks and website.
The Odesa Archaeological Museum of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is raising funds to equip a new storage facility with reliable shelving for ancient amphorae in the museum's garage.
Odesa Archaeological Museum — one of Ukraine's oldest museums, which stores over 98,000 artifacts. They require special storage conditions to prevent deterioration. The museum's resources are limited, so from time to time we need to appeal to patrons and benefactors to continue the museum's work.

Thanks to enthusiast researchers, concerned public and political figures, archaeological science has existed in Odesa for 195 years. This enables research by scientists, students and museum staff. And establishing the history and age of exhibits in the museum.

Museum uniqueness:
1. Odesa Archaeological Museum of NAS of Ukraine is the oldest institution of this profile in Ukraine (almost 200 years);
2. Thanks to our collections, one can trace human life from primitive times to the Middle Ages (98,000 exhibits);
3. The only collection of Egyptian exhibits in Ukraine provides worthy competition even to the Hermitage;
4. The museum's collections have National Heritage status.
5. Even foreign specialists envy our collections.
Few of our visitors, viewing the museum's exposition, realize that this is only the "tip of the iceberg". In reality, most exhibits are stored in the museum's repository, hidden in the building's depths. One such room is located under the main entrance stairs. But its capacity is limited, so we plan to arrange a room where new exhibits will be stored.

The thing is, the museum has long outgrown itself. Since its creation, thousands of exhibits have been added to the collection. But there are no more storage facilities. Therefore, they are all overcrowded. Moreover, some storage facilities are currently completely inaccessible.
Museum funding:
Fate played a cruel joke on our museum, as the museum is an institution subordinate to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. At the same time, the opportunity to develop archaeological science in our region deprived us of city funding. Therefore, we turned to crowdfunding so that caring Odesa residents could support our museum with a convenient contribution on the platform.
