Summer camp setup for rehabilitation of IDP families affected by military actions

Russia's war against Ukraine has affected every Ukrainian, especially causing enormous psychological trauma to people who suffered from military actions.
Last summer, the team of NGO "Tourist Ukrainian Family" founded a summer camp in Myhiya village in Mykolaiv region and began caring for rest and rehabilitation of children and adults who became victims of Russian aggression. How we help is told by Oleksiy Oleynyk, passionate about tourism and head of this charitable project.
In 2022, the TUR team welcomed 474 displaced persons to the camp. This year we plan to welcome even more guests. We have assembled a powerful team of instructors and volunteers.
We understand how important it is for these families to rest and simply reboot. We assembled a volunteer team of 84 people. Each week someone comes as an instructor, someone to cook, art therapists, animators — these are people who work with soul. We ride rafts, kayaks, climb rocks. Art therapists work with guests. And we see how children who come to us closed because they experienced the horrors of war — smile here. They come alive.

Together with you on the "My City" crowdfunding platform, we raised funds for rope park, muffle furnace, clay and other equipment for art therapy.
Now we are opening a new location in Kuripchyne village, where during summer 2023 we can welcome 160 people. For comfortable stay of participants we need to buy tents and mats.
