My.Beloved

Who we are, what experience we have, who is on our team?
Our project "My.Beloved", aimed at supporting creative elderly women in villages of Sumy region, has existed for almost 3 years, we have gained trust from clients and donors during this time.
Since the beginning of full-scale invasion, we managed to add volunteer assistance to Armed Forces of Ukraine. It was initiated by women who have been in our project from the very beginning, involving villagers in making trench candles, sewing tactical first aid kits, making camouflage nets, etc. As for balaclavas and hats, we have already made and sent over 50 pieces to the front, received positive feedback about convenience and quality production and requests from military to send more. We raised about 100,000 hrn for small needs since full-scale invasion. We are not a charity foundation. So, we are proud of our community's trust and want not to let them down this time.

What problem do we solve? Why is it important?
Our team faces two challenges that cannot leave us indifferent: first - lonely elderly women from remote villages of Sumy region who know how and want to knit and somehow help military, as many of them have sons currently at the front, someone is missing, someone is being waited for. To occupy hands and thoughts from anxious news we want to give meaning to their work, providing yarn and organizing comfortable places with uninterrupted electricity in their villages, giving opportunity to communicate and share their anxieties at work. For military, as for civilians, it's important not to lose emotional connection with everyday life we once had. Such manifestation of care and reminder that they are thought of and awaited will be our products
