Bardak Film Festival VII

"Bardak" is a film festival of independent Ukrainian short films, held annually in October in Kharkiv.
Short films made by Ukrainians in any film production role are accepted for festival competition. Works of various genres are allowed: fiction, documentaries, parodies, experiments, TikToks, etc.
Selection results will be announced to participants by September 13. VII Bardak will take place in autumn, specifically late September - early October.
"Last year, the "Bardak" film festival was forced to be held not in native Kharkiv, but in Kyiv, considering participants' and viewers' safety. We are very grateful to the capital for organizing the event and giving Ukrainians a short film celebration during these difficult times. Despite this, this year we hope "Bardak" will return to its native home, and Kharkiv will again host the independent Ukrainian short film festival in autumn", noted "Bardak" festival organizer Anton Frolov.
The festival Grand Prix will be determined by viewers. The jury will select the best films in their opinion.
Given martial law conditions and danger threatening Ukraine, the festival venue will be announced later.
