Safety Cabinet - life-saving knowledge

Today safety is not just a word. It's a daily need of every Ukrainian family. Air raids, mine danger, fires, remoteness of medical services in rural areas — this is the reality in which our children grow up.
We want them to be ready. Not scared — but trained.
Our goal is to create a modern safety cabinet in the general secondary education institution of Kalnybolota village. This will be a specially equipped space where children and adults can acquire practical skills that save lives.
The "Safety Cabinet – life-saving knowledge" initiative is implemented by a team of educators, chief specialist of the education department of Nadlatska village council, head of Kalnybolota branch named after R.O.Lysenko of Nadlatsky lyceum and his deputy. https://www.facebook.com/share/g/1CLRHvj7nv/
We have repeatedly participated in organizing educational events, informational meetings and joint initiatives for students, parents and teachers, which builds community trust in our activities.
Special mission of the project
The safety cabinet will be created in honor of the deceased teacher Lysenko R.O., who died on September 29, 2022 during the liberation of Kherson region. He dreamed of a space where children could acquire not only knowledge from textbooks, but also skills that save lives.
He dreamed of creating a full-fledged classroom with modern material and technical base in the educational institution — a place where children could not only listen, but train, practice action algorithms, learn to save lives.
The implementation of this project is a continuation of his work and a worthy commemoration of his memory.

Why is this important?
There is no separate safety training center in the village. And in a critical situation, it's the first minutes that save lives. Children should know:
- how to act during an air raid;
- how to recognize explosive objects;
- what to do in case of fire;
- how to stop bleeding and provide first aid before medics arrive.
In rural areas, ambulance and rescue services often take longer to arrive. Therefore, self-help and mutual aid skills are not just knowledge, they are a chance to save lives.
Who will it serve?
- school students
- teachers
- parents
- all village residents
- for joint training with service representatives
We plan to involve rescuers, medical workers, community police officer, volunteers. The classroom will work permanently and become a long-term resource for the community.
What we will create?
✔ civil protection training zone
✔ first aid corner with training mannequins
✔ information boards on mine and fire safety
✔ multimedia equipment for training
✔ space for classes for all community residents
This will be a safety center for children, teachers, parents and the entire village.
The result we believe in
- forming a safety culture among children and adults
- increasing emergency preparedness
- preserving life and health
- creating a center of memory and dignity
We sincerely ask you to support this project. Every contribution is an investment in the safe future of our children. This is an investment in knowledge that can one day save someone's life.
Together we can create a space where safety becomes a habit and knowledge becomes strength.
Thank you for your support ❤
