Home Me Fest #5. Christmas

There's a month and a half left until New Year, but we're already looking forward to drinking cocoa, eating tangerines and admiring the first snow. And of course, we're waiting for the holidays to put on our funniest deer socks and watch Christmas comedies. We think this cozy picture is missing just one thing. A kitten purring on our chest. Or a puppy rubbing against our leg and wagging its tail because it brought a ball and wants to play.

For the first time we'll hold the Home me festival in winter, so the first frosts don't catch the furry ones on the street. For humans it's a chance to find a loyal friend, and for pets — to find a home and no longer fear cold and hunger.

Over two years of the festival's existence, 243 pets found their people. This became possible thanks to partner support and people who care about homeless animals' fate. More and more people open their hearts to pets regardless of their breed and origin.

Even after Home Me ends, people continue coming to shelters themselves to adopt a pet or help. Thanks to freed spaces in shelters, new furry ones needing help can get in.

Each festival all participating pets undergo vaccination and veterinary examination by "Dar" clinic specialists beforehand.
