Fundraising for NGO "Oleksandriiska Molod" activities
We are NGO "Oleksandriiska Molod". Our organization supports two youth spaces in Oleksandriia — "Second Floor" and "SpaceSpace". We're not even five years old, but we've lived a whole life: burned out several times, became parents, found new team members and implemented projects with total budgets of over 300,000 UAH. We also managed to work with UNDP (Leadership Academy "LeaderHub" project), Council of Europe ("Adequately about..." project) and "HOLD" program ("We are the present" project) and NGO "Tenth of April" ("MINDanchyk" project)
Our organization unites people with different needs and provides everyone with appropriate development opportunities:
- Youth come to our events to spend their free time in a cozy atmosphere.
- We have cases when our visitors became volunteers of our NGO.
- We provide opportunity, space and available resources to active city youth so they can show leadership skills and hold their own events, develop initiatives, create interest clubs etc.
- For our team, the NGO is a place for professional development and implementing cool ideas for the city. We also have experience when people first came to events as participants, then became volunteers, and later — members of our organization and worked in youth spaces "Second Floor" and "SpaceSpace".
Our main activities are non-formal EDUCATION, meaningful LEISURE, social COHESION, organizational DEVELOPMENT, youth INITIATIVES support.
But our main pride is our community. These are Oleksandriia youth who come to our events because they want to be heard. These are people who seek development, want to influence city life. Around the organization we build an environment where every voice matters and every idea can become a catalyst for change.
Why do we need this fundraising? 🙂
We have great experience working with large grants, but any project has its end. However, people and shared values stay with us for long. So now we aim to unite a circle of like-minded people — a strong community of those who resonate with our activities. Being our donor means becoming part of the team. Thanks to systematic support we can confidently plan the future, maintain sustainability of our work and launch new initiatives together.
Funds will be directed primarily to ensure our "engine" works smoothly:
- Accountant: Currently financial issues lie on our head's shoulders. We want to hire a professional so management can focus on strategy and new ideas, not paperwork.
- Training for NGO team: We want to pay for quality training in project management and grant writing so our team becomes more professional and can better help the organization.
- Recognition (Merch and printing services): Branded products will help the team feel united and be more recognizable at city events.
Also, we plan to pay for banking services for NGO account maintenance, organization advertising on social media, water, printer ink.
Why is this important for Oleksandriia?
We often hear from teenagers that Oleksandriia — well, nothing happens here and you need to leave quickly. This youth outflow is our common loss. We want to convey a different value: even in a small city you can do big things.
