100 Santa's Helpers

Join the collection of Ukrainian books for war-affected children!
Caritas Odesa UGCC charity has been running an annual St. Nicholas Day campaign for ten years to give children books and with them — warmth, faith and hope that good always triumphs over evil even in the darkest times!
The campaign started in 2014 when thousands of families forced to leave their homes due to war came to Odesa. We helped evacuated people and saw how important it was for parents to preserve their children's childhood even in the hardest times. So in 2015 our "100 Santa's Helpers" campaign was born — we dreamed of collecting 100 books for 100 children.

Since then we continue this tradition yearly. Though most charity drives now support military, we believe caring for children is also part of our common fight for life, good and love.
This year we want to organize a celebration for children most affected by war — sons and daughters of fallen and missing soldiers, plus evacuated children now living in Odesa region, and those whose families temporarily need help and support. We're sure good stories can comfort, support and restore faith in good's victory.

Goal: collect 300 books for children of various ages in Odesa and region.
We need 90,000 hryvnias to buy quality children's books from Ukrainian publishers. Each book is not just a gift to a child, but support for Ukrainian authors and publishers.
Join us! Together we can give children a celebration, faith in good and warmth they need so much now.
Caritas Odesa UGCC charity operates since 2005. Last year we helped over 80,000 war-affected people.
