Kharkiv residents will be fed! Field kitchens for civilians
The most important human needs are drinking water and quality food. This issue becomes especially acute with the onset of cold weather.
Due to active combat operations and deoccupation in the Kharkiv region, Ukrainians living there cannot cook food for themselves, meaning they cannot eat properly. This is due to lack of communications and shelling by orcs.
What can be cooked in field conditions often has nowhere to be stored due to lack of power grid and sufficient generators. To solve this situation we are opening a fundraiser for 10 field kitchens. They will allow cooking two hot dishes at once - first and second course for 40 people at a time. Thus, on average, during the day (from nine in the morning to nine in the evening), with the necessary volume of food products, it will be possible to cook for an average of 500 people.
Our volunteer cooks are ready to prepare hot food for people in Kharkiv region, but there is no necessary equipment for this. Thanks to field kitchens, this opportunity will appear.
Advantages of such kitchens:
- ability to cook food for a large number of people at once;
- compact size allows placing the kitchen in a small area;
- mobility that allows quickly deploying the kitchen and just as quickly transporting it;
- Two cauldrons: one is used for cooking first courses, the second, with an oil jacket that prevents burning, for cooking second courses.
A bit of history about our charitable foundation "International Foundation of Ukraine":
Our social initiative appeared back in 2019. From the very beginning of the war, our team provided and continues to provide humanitarian aid to the civilian population of Kharkiv city and region. For more effective organization of work with requests that constantly come to us in large numbers, we decided to create an official charitable organization "Charitable Foundation 'International Foundation of Ukraine'", which we registered on 14.06.2022.
So the goal of our foundation is to help the peaceful population and our Defenders, because only thanks to them we will have this bright FUTURE!
