Public organization "For a Healthy and Self-Sufficient Future" initiates the creation of a Youth Creative Hub in Hoholiv territorial community.
The organization has been operating for 4 months and implements social and youth initiatives aimed at supporting mental and physical health, integrating internally displaced persons and community development.
From July to September 2024, the initiative group conducted 28 events for children, youth and adults: art therapy sessions, shelter leisure using multimedia equipment, Nordic walking classes, workshops and community bonding events.
The Youth Hub idea emerged due to acute lack of specially equipped youth development space in the community. Due to community remoteness and infrastructure shortage, young people, especially IDPs, have limited access to modern educational, cultural and integration opportunities. This reduces their activity, motivation and contributes to youth outflow to cities.
Youth Creative Hub is a modern 60 m² space where youth aged 14-35 can learn, communicate, implement ideas and participate in community cultural life. The hub plans at least 15 annual events: trainings, workshops, creative meetings, integration and art events with external experts.
Project implementation will promote social cohesion, develop youth communication and creative skills, form active civic position and create conditions for long-term community development.
